unlink

(PHP 3, PHP 4 )

unlink -- Deletes a file

Description

int unlink ( string filename)

Deletes filename. Similar to the Unix C unlink() function.

Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure.

See also rmdir() for removing directories.
